Woman becomes a TikTok star thanks to her VERY funny impressions

A social media user has gone viral thanks to her uncanny impressions of TV personalities.

Ruby Waghorn, from London, has built up a 60,000-strong TikTok following with her hilarious videos gently mocking the stars of Love Island, Made In Chelsea, Celebs Go Dating and Strictly Come Dancing.

The 24-year-old, who also has 16,000 Instagram followers, started sharing her impressions on Instagram in September 2019 and now regularly racks up thousands of likes.

Covid-19 two years on: cases still high in Kingston

Government data released this week revealed that Kingston has one of the highest rates of Covid-19 in the UK, with 1780 people testing positive between March 16 and 22, showing an increase of 15.8 per cent compared to the previous seven days.

The UK went into the first lockdown on March 23 2020. Prime Minister Boris Johnson had imposed strict measures on the country’s population following fears of a deadly virus that was expected to sweep across the nation.

Kingston sports clubs suffer Covid-19 curse two years on

The Kingfisher Triathletes club has suffered a serious blow to its member numbers since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and has struggled to make financial ends meet.

At the end of 2019, the club, which prides itself on being an inclusive triathlon club that caters for all levels of ability, had 75 active members.

Kingston residents worried about emission charges are among thousands to sign a petition against the Mayor of London’s expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) to all outer London boroughs.

The expansion will come into effect by the end of 2023 and was announced this month by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
